What have I been up to? Good question. Well, let's see... I installed a bunch of forum mods for some friends, and spent a number of hours testing them to make sure they work properly. There were a few minor bugs, but nothing serious. Just a few things typed incorrectly.

I played my guitar until my fingers hurt yesterday, all fired up over a possible Cream reunion. That's Eric Clapton, Jack Bruce, and Ginger Baker... In case you're not old enough to remember them as Cream.

I've been laughing at George Bush every time CNN does the story about his cabinet members quiting one after another for the last two or three days. Which makes me wonder what kind of stupidity he's up to now that his high ranking Republicans cronies want no part of...

I ordered one of my wife's Christmas presents, a custom made Teddy Bear made specially for her, based on a description that I have heard more than once. She collects them, and I have always just bought whatever I could find. But not this year... This is the one she said she could never find. I ran into this woman I know that I haven't seen since the 80's, and I asked her what she had been up to. She says she's a Teddy Bear Artist. So I asked to see some of her stuff. We went to her house and she showed me a bunch of photos and some completed Teddy Bears she hadn't shipped yet. She's very good, and said she could make one anyway I chose. So I ordered an 1880's style hand made Teddy Bear in a white wedding dress. My wife will love it.

One problem though... I hope this woman doesn't move away for awhile. I buy my wife a Teddy Bear every year for Christmas, and this one is gonna be a hard act to follow.
