Looking back the year 2004

On behalf of the team we wish you a happy, healthy and peaceful new
year.
Thanks, dear fans, for your loyalty and overwhelming interest in our
favourite band. (The Saga Germany access rates speak for
themselves.)
Furthermore I sincerely would like to thank the band. Thank you Michael,
Jim, Ian, Daryl and Christian for a year full of ingenious music and
smasching concerts. Thank you for the heartfelt warmth we have been always
received with.
Last but not least a sincerely thank you to Michael Ellis. Without his
cooperation so fantastic events like for example the fan meeting would have
been impossible. Also thanks for the first hand news.
Again a year flew by, plenty reason to take a quick look back.

January 2004
Release of DVD "Marathon World Tour 2003 - Official Bootleg" - USA<br>
At the beginning of the year we welcomed Nicole and steve Negus in our
chatroom.

February 2004
Thanks to lots of donations made by fans her from Saga Germany we were able
to fulfil our big dream: our very own server goes online.
In February we can welcome Gwen and Michael Sadler in our chat.

March 2004
Release of DVD "All Areas" - Germany.
Trudes begins with her translation into Dutch.

April 2004
The band members meet in LA to begin recording the new album.

May 2004
The title of the new album is officially announced as "Network".
Ian Crichton and Jim Gilmour work also on a project for ProgRock
Records.

June 2004
The open air concert in Lichtenvoorde, Holland is taking place.
Release of DVD "All Areas" USA, Canada.

July 2004
Michael Sadler is celebrating a round birthday. Various radio station seize
that opportunity to broadcast 'Specials'.
The first autumn tour dates are released.
The registration for the Fan Meeting has started.<br><br>

August 2004
"Network" becomes increasingly reality as it is introduced in previews by
some radio stations.
The News on Saga Germany have become multilingual: many keen helper are
translating articles and lyrics. Many thanks again to Hiromi, Uschi, Trudes,
Ronny and Jonathan .

Septermber 2004
The European promotion tour of Michael Sadler and Jim Gilmour commenced
includiing various radio specials.
Network is released. Network enters the Top 100 German Album Charts at
number 78
Michael Sadler's solo album "Clear" is available in a standard version.
Saga Germany is getting a page navigation in the languages English, French,
Dutch, Spanish and German.

October 2004
The European leg of the Network tour starts in London.
Relaunch of the official webpage of saga-world.com
The distribution of the limited version of "Clear" begins.

November 2004
The international Fan Meeting is taking place in Beverungen.
The concert in Mannheim in the Capitol is filmed. The footage is used
possibly for a DVD.

December 2004.
The European leg of the Network tour is ending in Villingen
Schwenningen.

As little New Year's gift we have prepared for you a SAGA calender 2005 (in
pdf format). Many, many thanks to Harald Schult!
