paderborn
The concert that Saga gave in Paderborn Capitol began a little rusty, a bit uncertain almost. The Capitol was filled to capacity with fans from the first hour, all young elderly.
Played espescially touching were the chapters.
The announced departure of super drummer Steve (such progession and enthiousiasm) concers us as loyal Saga fans (all the great German citys we have seen because of this trait) in the Saga sound, we fear an important element is lost.
But nonetheless our sincere thanks go out to Steve, and we hope his successor will be a worthy replacement, capable of keeping the standard high!
The encore, as usual, was phenomenall, the roof nearly cam down on us, the towel that was thrown in the hall actually did come down on us, as I catched it.
This and the fact that is was the last concert for Steve add up to it being a concert that, to us, stands out even from the other great Saga concerts.

To all Paderborn-Visitors: you'll find very nice pix on the website of www.capitol-musiktheater.de from a professional photograph.
