Fragen an Jim Gilmour / Questions to Jim Gilmour
Liebe Fans.
Viel Spass!
Susi

Dear fans,
This new part of the forum has been set up on the band's request.
We will collect your questions and forward them to the band. Please keep your questions concise, as only those will be answered.
Ultimately, all this is going to form a "Fan interview" which will be published at Saga Germany.
Fire away, here's where you can ask what you always wanted to know

Jim, I've heard that you have plans for a solo album, how is it going to sound?
I always liked your piano play on the Saga albums, are you going to use it on your solo album?

Hi Jim,
do you use much time, creating new sounds with your Korg equipment, or do you prefer composing new songs ?
Do you actually use other equipment than Korg ?

Do you have already a release date for the solo CD and what can we expect, will it be in the vain of Instrumental Encounters or will it be quite different and if yes, in what respect will it be different?
Btw, I like the beginnings of your homepage, the piano is great

Hi Jim/Mr. Gilmour,
A lot of years I've been wondering why it seems that you don't use MIDI to connect the synths. Program switching looks to me so much easier using a patchbay or something like that?
second question: In 10.000 days do you use a track to perform the choir live, or do you (or Michael) trigger sampled phrases at the right time.
Just a curious keyboardist
thank you
Coen
