Ich have seen many concerts, events and festivals in 2006 and I liked all very much!
1. SAGA at Hardenberg (NL), Zoetermeer, ROA, Essen
2. Uriah Heep, UFO and The Sweet at ROA
3. Cuby & the Blizzards, Slade, The Sweet and The Animals at Oerrock in Ureterp (NL)
4. Rapalje at the Midzomernachtfeest Nieuweschans (NL)
5. Rapalje at the CastleFest in Lisse (NL)
6. Rapalje at Zomer op het Plein in Alkmaar (NL)
7. All the local bands at WormerLive! in our hometown Wormer (NL)
8. All the local bands at Parkpop in Krommenie (NL)
9. The local bands and Hans Dulfer at the Bruine Vlootdagen in our hometown Wormer
10. Mark Foggo in a special project in Alkmaar (NL)
@ Michael:
I have seen The Sweet two times this year. Once at Oerrock and once at ROA. At Oerrock I missed the sound of Brian Connely, but at ROA Tony O'Hora sang; a great singer. I think that's why The Sweet was much better at ROA then at Oerrock.
When I was younger I didn't like The Sweet very much. I was a big Sladefan. And Slade was great at Oerrock, especially Dave Hill (Merry X-Mas everybody in may = fun).
You can see a few pictures of both bands at my site (Oerrock pages).
