Why no UK date(s)?

Why no UK date(s)?

Beitragvon oli » Mo Okt 29, 2007 10:27 pm

Wondered why the band aren't or haven't planned to add a UK show to the tour? I'm really keen to see them and I'm struggling to get a flight to Germany to watch them (that I can afford!!). I'll never stop kicking myself for missing the one and only London date back in 2005 !

Can someone ask them to add a UK date ; ) alternatively, what's the best way (travel wise), to see them in Germany from the UK? anyone from UK going?? cheers, Oli : )

Hello oli.
Have a little read around the forum. Several of us, or is that just a few, have been on about that.
No one has given a clear cut reason for the no show here. No doubt the band have their reasons.
I'm not too sure what other people here are doing but myself and Mrs.C are off to Berlin.
Flights are not too expensive. Cheaper than travelling by train , taxi, your own car and probably walking in the UK.
East Midlands or Birmingham for you I guess.
That should give you a few options on destinations. If you pick Berlin, let us know. :D
It's not over until it's over.

Ok. We are really looking forward to it.
Not the last time that we may see SAGA with Michael but the show if you know what I mean.

Hi folks,

if you plan to come to Berlin, I can recommend a hotel which is located only three subway stations away from Columbia Club:

Hotel Alt-Tempelhof
http://www.alt-tempelhof.com/default.aspx?lang=en

If booked online, the double room for one night is 94 Euro, single 84 Euro. Just check their website. Check at http://www.hrs.com as well, might be cheaper.

Greetings,
Bertho

hello Bertho.
Many thanks for that but all is in place. Flights and hotel booked.
All we hope for now is the tickets which we are assured are available.
It would be good to meet up with a few people from around here in Berlin.
A bar or something ????

Hello not only to Bertho but to all in Berlin.

Mrs.C and I will be leaving soon to join you . We are really looking forward to hopefully bumping into a few of you over in Germany.
Looking at the weather, it's the first time that we've flown anywhere and it's worse than what we have here.
Us Brits are mad about the weather you know.
