Here's a preview of the '10,000 Days' artwork. It was created by Warren Flanagan who worked for Hollywood blockbusters like Blade, X-Men and Hulk. He also designed the artwork of the recent Symphony X album 'Paradise Lost'.

My first thought was also: a old shoe, but not a klomp (a Dutch wooden shoe)! I can tell you our folk shoes look very different; I walked on them this whole afternoon and went to a woodenshoe factory and - museum.

Today I saw a snail without a shell (naaktslak => naked snail) in our garden. I looked at it more closely and it had a small whole in it. This snail had to be the model for the cover of the new album!

i think it's really nice cover! And i dont understand your confusion about it, it is just the "Saga Alien" which are on many of the saga albums?
