SAGA - The Human Condition my review
Here is my SAGA - The Human Condition review:
First of all I will welcome Rob Moratti to the SAGA family.
What a great voice and fits the sound of "new" SAGA big time..
I wish they play the whole album on the tour,
The production / sound is perfect, it shows that they have worked hard on this album...
Song by song....
The Human Condition...
It's like "Corkentellis"
After 32 years they can allow themselves to make a song they want to make ,
It's good but a little too much for me ( but I hope they use it as an opner at the shows)
8/10
Step Inside
Here is good old SAGA with a touch of the new SAGA,
when I first listen to the album it was my fav. but not anymore..
There are so many good songs on it..
10/10
Hands of time..
Ohh what a beautiful song, It's one of this songs that touch you deep inside and let me stand in tears,,,, Fantastic...
10/10
Avalon...
Now I want to go to the highlands, you can hear that it's inspired of the celtic highlands..
I guess this is Daryl fav. song on the album, reminds me of if solo albums with a big touch of SAGA, Ian plays wonderful on this song... A song that makes you happy..
10/10
A number with a name....
Reminds me of "bock of lies" ( my fav on 10.000 days),
but it's better, It have some great hooks, it's progressiv. it rocks...
9/10
Now is now....
If "Hands of time" almost makes me cry, this one do (it's my new "I' ok")
enough said...
10/10
Let it go...
What can I say..... This song rocks.. reminds me of "runaway"
9/10
Crown of thorns....
Damn SAGA gone heawy metal... And they can do it...
If your pissed, this song let you get it out....
9/10
You look good to me...
A pop/prog happy song... This can be the last song on a concert and everyone will go home happy and looking forward to the next time they will see SAGA live..
8/10
So overall I thnk the album is a big step forward, it's an updated fresher SAGA..
Of course it will lose some fans, but no matter what they would have done after Michael's departure.they would.
Yes. It was a sad day when Michael left, and (I think) you all know I will miss him.
But we all got many great albums with Michael, that we can enjoy and listen to..
Lukly for us fans SAGA have made 19 studio albums some really great one's and some not so good.. But we love them all, because we are fan's and blinded by that
SAGA for me is not just the music, it's so much more...
I feel like a part of a big great family,
and have a great time when I meet my SAGA friends where ever I am...
First of all SAGA and the crew... Dean, Al, SUSI and the rest of the crew for be such good friends, and always welcome me when I'm at a SAGA concert and that we stay in touch when we're not ontour...
And my friends in Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Germany....
All the guys in the band are great and it is so much fun talking with all of you,
And to Rob welcome into this great family, it have been great to getting to know you,
Looking forward to see you in Germany this spring,
Now I will soon stop.... haha
The album is fantastic, thank you for continue, when Michael left, I hope the album enter the German charts high and lots of people comes to the concert's... You deserve it......
