I shouldn't be posting
Don't listen to the bad comments. Rob is great! The crowds both nights were n away!!! except for maybe 2 or 3 people who will never accept the new Saga!!

Dean was in guitar land. I was backstage and front of house. I can truthfully say that the first day I could run around, ask to be let through and people would move a step or two to either side.
The second day I had to zig-zag between the walls to get *anywhere*. People wouldn't budge for love nor money as once they found a good spot they'd stay right there. Squeeze sideways through the crowd. It was PACKED.
And I agree with Dean. Rob is great. I even spotted one or two complete neigh sayers nodding and singing along to the new songs.

thanks for posting some pics sagalady, looking forward to some more. Everyone looked like they were having a great time and Rob looks like he fits in perfectly.
It's a tightrope bands walk on whenever there is a change in the lineup, what's important is the integrity of the music and with the right singer these bands have the opportunity to reach even higher levels of success. Genesis, Marillion and Spock'sbeard come to mind as having found perfect replacements.
From the samples I've heard from the new album, I think we can safely add Saga to that list.
Please please SAGA, make a DVD for all of us loyal fans who may not get the chance to see you perform live.

Would have loved to be there. Obviously I live too far away. Any chance we can get a video or two posted on the website? Many Saga fans are not going to be able to experience this. Thanks.
