Your favourite instruments

Beitragvon Uschi » Fr Nov 05, 2004 1:39 pm

Just recently I went to see Focus, more to visit a legend than for being a fan. But then there was this guitar player, Jan Dumée, and within no time I had red, hot , glowing lugs and felt all fuzzy Bild

There are certain instruments that when played skillfully, do a lot for me in that way:

keyboards
guitar
voice
drums

And yours are?

Bagpipes, in the right hands, are a truly inspiring instrument :D...however, in the WRONG hands, it's another kind of instrument...of TORTURE :pistol:

I'm serious, having been to the Edinburgh Military Tattoo, I can vouch that there is NOTHING more stirring than the massed pipes and drums :D :D :D

No wonder 'we' decided not to keep trying to take over Scotland, when confronted with the wailing pipes and underwear-LESS Scots :o :o

For the benefit of those of us not familiar with slang on your side of the pond, what exactly are "red, hot, glowing lugs"?

Does that mean ya got yer knickers in a bunch? Bild

Oh, and my favorite instrument is of course, an Ax...

Well, I made a brave attempt to diguise that fact, wasn't very successful, was I?

Basically lugs means ears. I doubt that many English people know it either :bg:
