Oomph! or Rammstein?

Which Band came first?

I mean, they have very similar sound so one must be inspired by the other!

Rammstein made it Big Worldwide, while Oomph! is practically unknown outside Germany!

Strange, as Oomph! are at least just as good as Rammstein if not slightly better?

Any Germans care to comment on this?

As already said Oomph were first... I think Rammstein are more popular, but I don't like Rammstein (in fact: I hate Rammstein). I always liked and like Oomph. Imho both bands are rather different and I usually avoid to compare them.

I prefer Rammstein... They're... I don't know... They've got more Style...

Sometimes I think Oomph! are little posers with their opinion...

When I was in Nürnberg in april, I went to a record store and there I saw a huge advertising for Oomph!

I guess it was because they'd just released their latest album........

Anyway, that made me wonder if they are as well known as Rammstein in Germany?

I'm just curious about it......

"Gott ist ein Popstar" is a brilliant song from Oomph!
