Fortune Telling is das neu Strangefish Album, welches im Frühsommer veröffentlicht werden soll. Die Band hat am Samstag das Album an einem besonderen Abend zum Besten gegeben, was ein voller Erfolg war. So, falls Ihr mal Lust habt reinzuhören bevor ich Euch im Sommer damit zulabere, wie toll das Album ist, dann habt Ihr hier die Chance

During January we all visited Radio Caroline's Rob Leighton at his charming cottage in Staffordshire. We couldn't resist the inviation to cram all our gear into the cottage and do a live recording. You can hear the fruits of our labours on Rob's "Imagination" show, Thursday 10th March at 9.00pm. Save target as, die Prozedur wie immer

Julian, der Bassist und Geiger der Band hat später noch folgendes erzählt:

I haven't heard the interview yet, as Paul and I were round at Rob Gould's last night and his satellite/video recorder apparatus threw a wobbly, so I don't know if the recording setup was described. Well...

Three of us shoehorned into Rob's dining room, (Paul, Dave, me); Steve and Bob in the kitchen next door, out of sight, but handy for brewing up. The mixing desk was our trusty old Peavey PA with a tiny spirit notepad to submix the kit, and there was no monitoring! I had to record a bit, get the guys to stop laughing for a minute or two and listen back on H'phones, twiddle the PA, try again, etc etc. It shouldn't have worked at all but somehow we got something out of it! Hence the dodgy balance. I would have liked more Steveness in the mix, but you can never have too much of Bob, eh?
