That's what "some one" from USA told me...

I don't think anybody in the band knows the answer to that one. As far as I remember, the American record company took it upon themselves to create that cover after deciding that the original was not strong enough for the U.S. market. So, who's the girl? Probably a "friend" or relative of someone in the art department at the time.
