Fragen an Jim Crichton / Questions to Jim Crichton
Liebe Fans.
Viel Spass!
Susi

Dear fans,
This new part of the forum has been set up on the band's request.
We will collect your questions and forward them to the band. Please keep your questions concise, as only those will be answered.
Ultimately, all this is going to form a "Fan interview" which will be published at Saga Germany.
Fire away, here's where you can ask what you always wanted to know

SAGA SOUND
Hi Jim,
on the last record was some great music and drumming but the sound was to dull. SAGA records always should sound brilliant to feature the great music as good as possible.
Behaviour was soundwise absolutely thrilling with great voices, synths and samples just as Heads or Tales with this great drum sound and the glassy trebles. After hearing the record 20 times, you always could find something new...
What is the ,main difference between the production of a SAGA record 1985 and 2005?
Will you ever work together with a producer in the future?
Along with Supertramps Paris, In-Transit is the best live rock record ever...I hope the chapters CD will be comparable.
affectionate regards
Frank

hey frank aufmoog, du hast mich auf ne frage gebracht:
hi jim:
who told steve negus to use electronic drums permanently on the "newer" tours (1999-2004) ... i think it looks quite funny (ridiculously) and i think it sounds awfull, because the huge drumwalls on "don't be late" (for example) then sounded quite small and ...again...ridiculously....
thanks
dave
ps: i like th drumsounds of "network" !

Hello Jim, you have written a lot of lyrics for Saga. The word " time " is used very often. My question:What is the message, which Saga wants to send to the fans and to mankind with these lyrics, apart from your phantastic and melodic music ? Best wishes Bernhard
