Tourdates

Beitragvon Adrian C » Sa Apr 07, 2007 9:19 pm

I have not spoken to Wilkie for a bit but I know that he was on a UK tour of his own soon.

I don't know what he or any other UK fans feel at the moment but Mrs.C and myself are a bit sad at not having a date here.

I do agree with Leo that it would be sad if there are no UK dates, because a great part of the experience is to see Saga in "your own backyard"....
So we certanly cross our fingers for that there will be one or more UK-dates.

If there are no UK-dates and you and Mrs. C decides to go to DK, then do not hesitate to contact us if you need help with some of the practical issues as e.g. finding a hotel, pick up in the airport, buying tickets for the concert and so on.... :D

That sounds great, Wilkie....
We will really enjoy to get visitors from the UK, so if the situation is that there are no dates planned in your area we will be more than happy to welcome all of you here!

Listen up, folks! It's OK to be disappointed about no tour-dates on your doorstep, but maybe you could follow my example and drive 1500 km (from Harstad, Norway to Oslo) to see our heroes? :D It's only 18 hours behind the wheel! So it CAN be done, you know... And what about us norwegians? Are we welcome to the fan-meeting as well? ;) Maybe you *spoiled* europeans (no offence  ) could come to Norway for a fan-meeting? August 4. at Holmenkollen ski-jump in Oslo - see you there? Just look out for the white VW - Caravelle with "SAGA" written all over! ;)
It's going to be a weird day - seeing my heroes for the FINAL time... (But hey - Steve's gone, how much worse can it get???) C U all!
I rest my case...

@ Wilkie, Mr. & Mrs C.
There is some cheap Irish dude flying from Stansted to (practically) my doorstep. If you're out early, prices are ridiculously low (less than 10£/leg). I'll pick you up and deliver you at the airport - and drive to both gigs. No strings attached!!
I guess I'll be going to both the gigs in DK, for sure the one in CPH.
I'd be delighted to offer you shelter for the night(s) - I dunno if we'll drive home from CPH after the gig tho'... we'll see about that.

As a warning you should know that I'm particularly ugly in the morning  and my breath stinks to high heaven :hut:
Leo could tell you more 'bout that :eg:

Well i am not happy to travel 1500km when i dont have the possebillity to it....have said that ..we in the northen europe are the most byers of thier albums and the most suporters in a long time....so in my mind i see only one thing and that is , they have an obligation to give us swedish fans full value .. under a World tour...

A world tour should include at least one city in each country wich they are selling albums in a big scale...

Again i am down right dissapointed becouse they choose to not do this...and many friends of mine who are SAGA fans feel the same....

Well, Copenhagen is not far from Gothenburg - just a few hours driving or very easy accesable by plane or train....

Or is it the principal of that you want a concert in sweden? :hut:
As an example Stockholm takes a longer travel from Gothenburg than a travel to Copenhagen.
